Samsung Expands One UI 8 Beta to More Galaxy Devices Ahead of September Launch
Samsung is widening access to its One UI 8 beta (Android 16), now including Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6, with broader rollouts to follow. The stable release is expected in September 2025

Samsung is expanding its One UI 8 beta program, originally limited to the Galaxy S25 series, to include the Galaxy S24 lineup, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 starting August 11 in major regions like the U.S., U.K., Korea, and India.
The beta will further expand in September to encompass additional Galaxy devices, including:
- Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5
- Tablets such as Tab S10 series
- Mid-range models like A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54
Samsung earlier introduced One UI 8 with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip 7 FE—devices that came preinstalled with the update. The stable rollout of One UI 8 is slated to begin in September 2025, starting with the Galaxy S25 series.
