Samsung Expands One UI 8 Beta to Galaxy S24, Z Fold6 & Z Flip6

Samsung Electronics has announced that its One UI 8 beta program will be expanding to a wider range of Galaxy devices, beginning next week. Initially launched with the Galaxy S25 series in May, the beta program will now be available on the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 in select markets, including Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India.

The update will bring new multimodal AI capabilities and more intuitive Galaxy AI experiences to these devices. One UI 8 is designed to understand a user's real-time context and enable more natural interactions. For instance, when paired with Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro, users can activate Google's Gemini by voice or a long-press on an earbud.

Furthermore, Samsung plans to extend the beta program in September to a number of other devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and several A-series phones (A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54). The company plans to release the official version of One UI 8 in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. The One UI 8 Watch update will also be expanded to more Galaxy Watch models beyond the Galaxy Watch8 series later this year. Users can register for the beta program through the Samsung Members app.
