Samsung has officially confirmed that the stable One UI 8 update will begin rolling out in September 2025, with the Galaxy S25 series being the first in line to receive the upgrade.
The rollout will extend to other devices throughout the month—including the Galaxy S24 lineup, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6—which have already joined the beta testing program in August. Earlier adopters like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 already shipped with One UI 8 pre-installed.
In parallel, the One UI 8 Beta program has been ongoing since May, initially covering the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Beta builds have since expanded to include models such as the S23 series, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5.
The fifth beta (ZYH6), now released for S25 users, focuses on system stability and bug fixes, indicating that the stable release is just around the corner. At this point, no confirmed timeline is available for Galaxy Watch users, as the One UI 8 Watch rollout may take longer.
