The Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 series, already available in China, is expected to be introduced to the world soon. The recent documents filed for regulatory purposes in Europe have unveiled the prices, specifications, and battery characteristics of the Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, thereby giving a preview of the phones that the Indian and other markets might receive.

The standard Redmi Note 15 5G as per the documents from the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) is equipped with a 5,520mAh battery, which is good for about 51 hours of usage per charge. The Pro model would have a battery of 6,580mAh with almost 61 hours of usage, while the Pro+ would have a 6,500mAh battery and show 61 hours. There won't be any problem with all three batteries, as they are rated for 1,000 cycles of charging, and still, they will retain 80% of their original capacity.

The pricing in Europe gives a hint about Xiaomi's strategy for the series in the global market. The price for the basic Redmi Note 15 5G is expected to be around €299 (approximately Rs. 31,200) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version. The Pro model's price is speculated to be around €399 (approximately Rs. 41,700), and the Pro+ could be priced at €499 (about Rs. 52,100) for 512GB storage support. It is said that the Pro+ would be available in at least three colors: Black, Glacier Blue, and Mocha Brown.

The expectation is that all three models will sport 6.83-inch displays, but the types of panels will vary. While the Redmi Note 15 5G may boast of an FHD+ AMOLED display, the Pro and Pro+ versions are likely to have 1.5K pOLED panels. It is expected that the Pro+ will have a 120Hz refresh rate along with 1,280×2,772 pixels resolution. The standard model is slightly larger and heavier compared to the Pro and Pro+ models, which are 164 × 75.42 × 7.35mm and 178g, while the latter two can be around 210g and 207g respectively.

The Redmi Note 15 5G, on the processing front, according to rumors, is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor while the memory will be 8 GB and the storage 256 GB. There will be a 108 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 20 MP shooter at the front for the photography. The Pro version might have the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra as its core and flaunt a 200 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 2 MP macro, and a 20 MP front camera setup. It is rumored that both lenient and harsh variants will have wired charging support of 45W.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is likely going to be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset accompanied by the storage of up to 512GB. Its rear camera system will be the same as that of Pro model, but the front camera might be of 32 MP. The charging speed could be up to 100W, and the phone is likely to come with Xiaomi's HyperOS based on Android 15.

Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed an official launch date in India while these European filings allow to get detailed visualisation of the global Redmi Note 15 series. Battery life, tiered pricing, and premium features indicate that the Chinese company is trying to attract both mid-range and premium consumers with the Redmi Note series that will be released globally.
