Xiaomi has globally launched the two new Pro variants of the Redmi Note 15 series, the Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro 5G. The new devices bring the same old designs but with upgraded internals, making them attractive to the users.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro comes with a huge 6,500 mAh battery offering wired charging of 45 watts and reverse charging via wired connection of 18 watts. The Note 15 Pro 5G on the other hand has a bigger 6,580 mAh silicon–carbon battery which is identical in fast charging support and even better in reverse charging with the latter giving 22.5W for the other devices.

The screens in both devices are flat AMOLED but of slightly different sizes and resolutions. The Note 15 Pro is equipped with a FHD+ panel of 6.77 inches (2,392 x 1,080 pixels) that features a 120Hz refresh rate, whereas the Note 15 Pro 5G provides a 6.83-inch 1.5K display (2,772 x 1,280 pixels) with the same refresh rate of 120Hz. Maximum local brightness of both devices is 3,200 nits with the same 12-bit color output. Besides, the 5G model has a quicker 480Hz touch sampling rate while the 4G counterpart only has 240Hz.

The enhancements also include audio and durability. The setup of dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support is now a standard feature, and protection against dust and water has been improved: the Note 15 Pro has an IP65 rating, the Note 15 Pro 5G has IP68 and IP69K certifications.

New chipsets are the main performance upgrade, with the MediaTek chips being refreshed. The Note 15 Pro is based on the Helio G200-Ultra, and the Pro 5G model is based on the Dimensity 7400-Ultra. Both versions can be chosen with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

The camera system is almost identical to the previous ones. The 5G model involves a 200MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, whereas the 4G version comes with a similar arrangement of an 8MP ultra-wide camera and the 200MP main sensor. The difference seems to be in the selfie shooters: a 32MP front camera is present in the Note 15 Pro, whereas the Pro 5G has a 20MP camera.

The two devices run on HyperOS 2.0, derived from Android 15, and incorporating the complete AI suite of Xiaomi, like AI Erase Pro, AI Remove Reflection, AI Image, and AI Image Enhancement tools.

The Note 15 Pro is available in three colors, namely Titanium, Glacier Blue, and Black, and its price starts from €349/£249 for the 8/256GB version. The Pro 5G model enhances the color scheme with Mist Purple besides Titanium, Glacier Blue and Black and is available from €399/£349 for 8/256GB with the 8/512GB version at €429/£399. January 5, 2026, is the date for the start of the pre-orders.
