Xiaomi has assured that the Redmi Note 15 series will soon be available in the Indian market. The company has also made a teaser video introducing the Redmi Note 15 5G 108 MasterPixel Edition on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting this device as the most affordable one of the new series. The exact date of the launch has not been given, but reports from Mint are saying that the basic version might be out in early January 2026, while the Pro and Pro Plus will eventually follow.
Xiaomi is still to reveal more about the hardware of the phone. The only certain specification is the 108MP main camera at the back for the MasterPixel Edition, which is showing the company’s intent to attract consumers through powerful cameras.
As per the industry insiders, the Redmi Note 15 5G is going to have a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera will most probably consist of a 108MP primary sensor together with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and there will be a 20MP front camera for capturing selfies and making video calls.
On the performance side, the device is likely to be backed by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip and equipped with a 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging. The smartphone is also expected to be shipped with Xiaomi’s Android 16-based HyperOS.
The earlier version of the Redmi Note 15 in China this year was given an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. There is a possibility that the Indian version will be rated IP68, thus the consumer would have better water-related protection.
