Xiaomi has unveiled a fresh Champagne Gold colour option for its Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G smartphones in India. This new aesthetic variant joins the lineup that originally debuted in December with three colour options. Aside from the cosmetic upgrade, all hardware specifications and pricing remain the same.
The newly introduced Champagne Gold variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G sports a premium matte finish. It retains the 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen, offering strong colour contrast and vibrant visuals. Its peak brightness of 3,000 nits supports clear visibility even under harsh lighting, and the 120Hz refresh rate enhances the smoothness of animations and screen transitions.
Button placement remains ergonomic, with the power and volume buttons located along the right edge. The SIM slot, speaker, and USB-C port are positioned at the bottom, maintaining a familiar design layout. The front features a centered punch-hole camera within slim bezels, while the rear houses a triple-lens camera module framed by a unique metallic ring—a design cue said to reflect Xiaomi’s signature style.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G continues with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Daily performance remains efficient, with multitasking handled smoothly and app launches executed quickly. Popular mobile games such as BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile run consistently at mid-to-high graphics settings, ensuring a fluid gaming experience for most users.
Though not aimed at flagship-level users, the device comfortably supports general usage needs, including social media, content streaming, and moderate gaming.
The smartphone maintains its triple rear camera system. It includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. Image results in well-lit environments are sharp, and the telephoto camera performs decently during zoom shots. The ultra-wide sensor captures broad scenes, although image clarity near the edges can vary.
Selfies captured using the 20MP front camera appear clear and natural. The camera suite delivers good versatility for everyday photography requirements.
With a retail price starting at Rs 27,999, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G in Champagne Gold brings style, reliable performance, and dependable camera quality to the mid-range segment.
