Redmi has unveiled the Redmi 15C 4G in select international markets, marking the follow-up to the Redmi 14C introduced in August 2024. The new handset features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a dust- and splash-resistant build rated IP64.
The phone is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G81-Ultra chipset and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, powers the dual-SIM device.
The Redmi 15C 4G is available starting at $179 (about Rs 15,800) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. Buyers can also opt for models with 4GB + 256GB or 6GB + 128GB storage. The top-end 8GB + 256GB variant is listed at $229 (about Rs 20,200). Color options include Moonlight Blue, Midnight Black, Mint Green, and Twilight Orange. Availability in India has not been confirmed.
The display panel features 720×1,600-pixel resolution, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of 810 nits (HBM). The screen has TÜV Rheinland certifications for reduced blue light, circadian-friendly settings, and flicker-free performance.
The rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5P lens, supported by a secondary sensor. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies. The imaging system includes Portrait, Ultra HD, and Beauty modes.
Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Security is provided by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face recognition.
The handset measures 171.56×79.47×7.99mm and weighs 205g. Redmi highlights an IP64 rating, ensuring dust and splash resistance.
