Realme has officially launched its next-gen operating system, Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16. The company claims that the update will make the device interactions quicker and more intelligent. The new GT 8 Pro users will be the first ones to try the interface, while the other compatible devices, including the GT 7 Pro, will get the update in a phased manner starting this November.
Realme UI 7.0 is not only a new look for the system but it also includes the new Light Glass Design, which is totally inspired by the glass textures for a fluid and translucent interface. The UI also contains ice cube icons similar to the ones on the fridge and a control center with a frosted and semi-transparent effect.
More customization options are offered through the introduction of Flux Theme 2.0 which allows for large-text themes, panoramic Always-On Display support, live wallpapers, interactive widgets, and updated fingerprint animations. The layouts of the lock screen are also improved to allow the users to exercise their own creativity.
The update comes with quite a number of AI-driven features embedded in it. AI Notify Brief combines non-urgent alerts and presents them in morning and evening summaries. The camera app now has an AI Framing Master that automatically guides to compose better shots. On the other hand, performance improvements are realized through a multi-task sidebar for easy app access and Flux Engine which simply raises responsiveness by 15%, overall performance by 22%, and scrolling smoothness by 29%.
Realme UI 7.0 makes cross-device connectivity much better, so the users can actually integrate their iPhone and Apple Watch. They can see the calls and messages on their Realme devices, as well as sync the health data from the Apple Watch. The AI Gaming Coach, which is the gamers' best friend, comes as a track usage patterns tool and gives recommendations tailored to individual needs and real-time optimization. The GT 8 Pro is going to come with Realme UI 7.0 all set up on it.
