Realme has begun sales of its newly launched P4 5G smartphone in India, marking its first availability after being introduced last week alongside the P4 Pro 5G.
The P4 5G, positioned under Rs 20,000, features a dual-chip design powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra SoC and a dedicated Hyper Vision AI processor. It ships with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, a large battery with 80W fast charging, and a dual-camera setup.
Sales for the Realme P4 5G opened Monday at 12 p.m. (IST) through Flipkart, Realme’s official online store, and offline retail partners. Customers can purchase the phone in Engine Blue, Forge Red, and Steel Grey finishes.
The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 18,499. The device also comes in two higher configurations — 8GB/128GB at Rs 19,499 and 8GB/256GB at Rs 21,499. Buyers using select bank cards are eligible for an instant discount of Rs 2,500.
The P4 5G features a 6.77-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 2392 × 1080 resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It supports HDR10+, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Realme has added 3,840Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye fatigue during extended use.
The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset fabricated on a 4nm process, clocked at 2.6GHz. Graphics processing is handled by the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0.
On the rear, the phone houses a 50MP OV50D40 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The rear setup supports 4K recording at 30fps. For selfies, a 16MP Sony IMX480 sensor with 4K video recording capability is positioned on the front.
The device features an in-display fingerprint reader and includes an infrared sensor for additional security and utility.
Weighing 185 grams and measuring 7.58mm thick, the Realme P4 5G carries IP65 and IP66 ratings for dust and splash resistance. It comes with a 7,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging. Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA), dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and USB Type-C.
