Realme unveiled two new smartphone prototypes at the Realme 828 Festival in China this week, introducing designs focused on extended battery life and improved thermal management for gaming.
The first concept device features a 15,000mAh battery that doubles as a portable power bank for charging other devices. Realme said the phone can support up to 25 consecutive movie playbacks on a single charge and may last up to five days under typical use. The handset design appears to include a horizontally aligned dual-camera setup and branding that highlights the large battery capacity. The company is reportedly using silicon-carbon battery technology to manage the size and weight of the device.
The second concept focuses on gaming performance, incorporating a dedicated cooling fan with a built-in air vent on the side frame. Realme stated that this system could reduce device temperatures by approximately six degrees Celsius, aiming to maintain performance during extended gaming sessions.
Specifications, launch timelines, and pricing details for both prototypes have not been confirmed. The company has not disclosed whether either model will be mass-produced.
