Realme is all set to unveil its upcoming flagship device, the GT 8 Pro, in India on November 20. The tech firm has already revealed some of the vital features of the phone before the official announcement, showcasing significant improvements in the areas of display, processing, battery, and camera technology.
The new Realme flagship will be equipped with the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, together with the swiftest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 flash storage. Two colors are going to be there for the phone; Diary White and Urban Blue. Besides that, a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 7,000 nits of peak brightness will be the major attraction of the device.
The GT 8 Pro will have a huge battery of 7,000mAh and will allow 120W fast charging. Realme had its estimates of users getting around 21.3 hours of uninterrupted YouTube viewing and about 7.66 hours of gaming with the Popular Mobile Game (BGMI). Besides that, the GT 8 Pro will be IP69 water and dust resistant and will run on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16.
The modular camera system, which was developed in partnership with the Japanese imaging company Ricoh, is one of the most impressive features of the GT 8 Pro. The phone facilitates the changing of the camera modules by means of a magnetic locking system, which is further secured with Torx screws. Realme is also providing two design choices for the camera part; square and round, thereby allowing users to have a say in the phone's appearance.
A 50MP primary shooter with Ricoh GR tech, a 200MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 12x lossless zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 116-degree angle are part of the phone's camera setup. The mobile device also comes with GR Mode, two traditional focal lengths (28mm and 40mm), and five Ricoh GR Tones along with five film profiles—Positive, Negative, High-Contrast B&W, Standard, and Monotone—which are meant to imitate the GR camera's hallmark aesthetics.
The capabilities for video recording are very incredible, particularly that they allow 4K recording at 120fps and Dolby Vision support for both the main and telephoto cameras. The extra choices include 4K 120fps 10-bit Log and 8K 30fps for video recording.
October saw the unveiling of the GT 8 Pro in China that took place together with the standard GT 8. In India, the model is believed to have similar features.
