Realme, the Chinese smartphone brand, is preparing to launch the GT 7 series in India, which is expected to include two models—the Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 7T. While the company hasn't confirmed the official launch date yet, both smartphones have reportedly received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), suggesting an imminent release.
Additionally, a dedicated microsite for the GT 7 series has gone live on Amazon, hinting at gaming-centric features, although official specifications are still under wraps.
Realme GT 7 Series: What to Expect
The Realme GT 7 is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM. On the other hand, the GT 7T is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 processor with 8GB RAM.
Reports suggest that the GT 7 may be a rebranded version of the Realme Neo 7, which was launched in China earlier. If this is accurate, it could feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. For photography, it might include a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front camera for selfies.
The GT 7T, according to Smartprix, is expected to sport a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display, also with a 6,000 nits peak brightness, and may come with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging.
