Qualcomm, a leading US-based technology company, has launched its advanced AI-driven Snapdragon X platform in India, aiming to expand its footprint in the country and bring next-generation computing to a wider audience.
The Snapdragon X platform enhances Qualcomm’s leadership in the Copilot+ PC segment by making AI-powered PCs more accessible and affordable. With a remarkable 45 Tera Operations per Second (TOPS) of AI performance, this platform is designed to revolutionize personal computing by delivering cutting-edge AI capabilities, exceptional performance, and multi-day battery life.
Kedar Kondap, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Compute and Gaming at Qualcomm, emphasized the significance of AI in daily life and how it is reshaping the PC industry. “The Snapdragon X platform will extend our reach in India, making AI-powered computing more affordable and accessible to a new tier of consumers. This transformation will drive productivity and enhance user satisfaction,” he stated.
Qualcomm envisions the Snapdragon X-powered PCs as a game-changer, offering a sleek, lightweight design combined with powerful AI capabilities. The platform features an energy-efficient GPU, enabling dynamic graphics performance suited for presentations, web browsing, and content streaming.
