Google is expected to introduce its Pixel 10 series smartphones in August. As anticipation builds, fresh leaks have disclosed storage configurations for all upcoming models, highlighting a surprising twist: certain high-storage variants may be limited to specific colour options.
Following recent reports about the colour options, the latest leak reveals that Google could release four models this year — Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold — each offering various storage tiers. However, not all colour variants will support every storage configuration.
The base Pixel 10 will reportedly launch in four colours — Obsidian, Frost, Indigo, and Lemongrass — each available in 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
The higher-end Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold models will support up to 1TB storage. However, this top-tier option will be exclusive to specific shades, making storage availability dependent on colour selection.

Based on this information, users looking for the 1TB variant in the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will need to choose the Obsidian colour. Similarly, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s 1TB version appears to be tied to the Moonstone variant.
These storage limitations could complicate choices for consumers prioritizing both colour and capacity. With the official announcement still weeks away, users may want to hold off on final decisions until Google confirms the lineup.
