The latter half of 2025 will witness the global unveiling of three major flagship smartphones: Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra, and Google’s Pixel 10 Pro XL. All three devices are expected to bring hardware and design upgrades, as well as new pricing benchmarks in India and international markets.
Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 17 series, including the base iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, between September 11 and 13. The Pro Max model will likely be priced around Rs 1,64,900 in India and approximately $2,300 in the U.S.
Design leaks suggest a significant shift in aesthetics, with a redesigned rear module that spans the device’s width—similar to visor-style layouts seen in other brands. All models may feature a 24MP front camera. The base iPhone 17 could include dual rear lenses, while the Air variant is expected to feature a single 48MP shooter. Pro variants are expected to run on Apple’s new A19 Pro chip, offering enhanced performance and efficiency.
Samsung’s next-gen Galaxy S26 series is set to launch next year, led by the Galaxy S26 Ultra, with Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus models expected alongside. The S26 Ultra could carry a launch price of Rs 1,59,990 in India.
Leaks indicate the inclusion of a CoE OLED display—a Colour-on-Emitter panel expected to deliver better color efficiency and screen quality. The device may incorporate a 200MP Sony sensor (1/1.1 inches), replacing the ISOCELL lens used in earlier models. The display is rumored to measure 6.9 inches and support a 120Hz refresh rate. A large vapor chamber may be added for thermal management. Internally, it is likely to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite chip with 16GB of RAM.
Google’s Pixel 10 series is expected to go official in August, with the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The Pro XL variant is likely to be priced at €1,299 (around Rs 1,17,700) for 256GB storage. The standard Pixel 10 Pro could be priced at €1,099 (approx. Rs 99,500) for 128GB.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to feature a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with variable refresh from 1Hz to 120Hz, up to 3,000 nits brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It may be powered by the Tensor G5 chipset, paired with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.
On the camera front, the device could offer a 50MP primary lens, 48MP ultra-wide sensor, and 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. A 42MP front camera and a vapor chamber cooling mechanism are also expected. The handset will likely pack a 5,200mAh battery, supporting 29W wired and 15W wireless charging.
