The affordable Nothing 3a Lite 5G is all set to launch on October 29. The new device is an addition to the Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro series. Apart from the announcement, Nothing also showed off a glimpse of the phone's design which is likely to have some minor improvements over the old models.
Rumors indicate that the Phone 3a Lite 5G will have the company's signature transparent design but it will also come with a new LED light on the back panel. This light might indicate the notification or the phone call coming in. On the other hand, the Phone 3a has a similar transparent back plus the circular Glyph lights around the camera module giving it its unique look. Both the models are assumed to be equipped with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display that boasts a fluid 120Hz refresh rate.
It is being predicted that the Phone 3a Lite 5G will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset along with 8GB of RAM. The present Phone 3a is functioning on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. It is expected that the battery capacity in both cell phones will be the same, that is, 5000mAh, but the Lite variant is likely to support 33W fast charging while the standard phone offers 50W charging.
The camera setups are forecasted to be quite similar. The Lite version might have a 50MP main lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Nonetheless, the front camera could be reduced to 16MP from the 32MP camera on the Phone 3a.
The expected price range for the Nothing Phone 3a Lite 5G is about Rs. 20,000 for the entry-level storage configuration. In contrast, the currently available Phone 3a 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 23,999.
