Oppo has announced that it will launch its new Reno15 series in China on November 17, with official teasers revealing the design, color options, and configurations. Before the launch, detailed specifications of the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro have been leaked online, which disclose the main hardware and software features.
The China Telecom website has uploaded both devices, which gives a very good idea of what the consumers will get. The Reno15 is said to be equipped with a 6.32-inch OLED screen that has a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Its Pro version will come with a bigger 6.78-inch OLED panel, and it will also support 120Hz refresh rate.
The two devices are likely to be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8450 (MT6899) processor. The battery capacities are mentioned as 6,200mAh for the regular Reno15 and 6,300mAh for the Reno15 Pro. The phones are encased in aluminum alloy frames, which is a sign of combining durability and elegant design.
Contrary to earlier speculation, the listing says that the camera configurations are same in both devices. A 200MP main shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens are among the features of the rear side of the phones. A 50MP camera for the front is provided to the users for selfies. Both devices will probably come with Android 16 out of the box.
In addition to the display with ultra-thin 1.15mm bezels, Oppo's teasers have also highlighted the flat Reno15 series. The Reno15 has three color choices, which are Aurora Blue, Canele Brown, and Starlight Bow, while Reno15 Pro will come available in Honey Gold, which has supplanted the Aurora Blue variant.
