Oppo Reno 15 Series 5G India Launch Teased: Four Phones Incoming

Oppo has hinted at the launch of its Reno 15 Series 5G in the Indian market, several months after the Reno 15 Series was first launched in China. The company is keeping the timelines, pricing, and complete specifications secret but has released a teaser confirming the India launch.

The decision was based on a tiny teaser that was put on Oppo's official X account. The post, simply labeled "Coming Soon," confirms the entry of the Reno 15 Series into the Indian market, but does not specify a launch date.

The teaser video briefly shows the design direction taken for the Reno 15 Series. One of the phones is painted blue while the other is white. The blue version has a beautiful gradient pattern that shifts with the light, while the white one has a smooth back with flowing lines that follows a textured pattern.

Some say the white color is for the small-sized Reno 15 Pro mini, which is expected to be available in a shade called Glacier White. Both exhibits in the teaser are outfitted with a new rear camera arrangement having three circular camera rings along with an LED flash. The new design bears a close resemblance to the older iPhone Pro-style cameras, although Oppo has stamped its identity.

As per the information given by the tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), Oppo is going to launch a larger Reno series than usual in India. The brand is reportedly up for four models under the Reno 15 Series 5G: Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15c, and Reno 15 Pro mini.

If true, this will be one of the biggest Reno launches in the country by Oppo, covering different price segments and models.

Reno 15 Series is going to be all about photography. Rumor has it that every model will be outfitted with Oppo’s AI Portrait Camera system. Among them, the Reno 15 Pro mini is probably going to be the star of the show with its cutting-edge 200MP primary camera sensor which makes it one of the highest-resolution camera phones expected in this sector.

The basic Reno 15 version is supposed to come with a periscope telephoto lens that would allow the user to zoom in digitally 120 times, thus catering to the needs of the photographers who love shooting at long distance.

The size of the battery might be a factor that distinguishes the different models of the series. The Reno 15c is said to be the one with the biggest battery of 7,000mAh, which makes it the model that is mainly targeted at customers who prioritize long battery life. The price of this device will be below Rs. 40,000.

The Reno 15 Pro is expected to be the most expensive of them all, as rumors indicate the inclusion of wireless charging, a feature that only some Reno models come with.

The first rumors say that the normal Reno 15 can be sold at a price below Rs. 50,000 in India, the Reno 15c will aim at a lower price section. Oppo has not yet revealed any pricing information.

As the teaser has been unveiled, it is anticipated that there will be more official information released in a sequential manner. It is most likely that Oppo will disclose the details regarding the specifications, the launch dates, and the sale of products during the announcement.
