Oppo’s upcoming Reno 15 lineup has surfaced online, hinting at what could be the brand’s next major mid-range release before year-end. The smartphones are reportedly scheduled to debut in November in the Chinese market, followed by a possible international rollout in early 2026.
According to recent reports on Weibo, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro will likely run on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8500 series processor. The leak suggests that multiple smartphone makers are preparing devices with the same chipset, focusing on improved efficiency and upgraded imaging systems. The Reno 15 Pro is expected to feature a 200MP main camera, aligning with the growing trend of high-resolution sensors in mid-tier devices.
The Weibo post included references only to Oppo’s upcoming model, implying that the brand may be among the first to adopt the new chipset. Alongside the camera, the Dimensity 8500 is also said to support enhanced periscope zoom capabilities and large-capacity batteries, possibly up to 10,000mAh in other devices using the same platform.
The Reno 15 lineup is expected to consist of three variants — Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Plus. Display sizes could range from 6.3 inches on the base model to 6.78 inches on the top-end version, all featuring 1.5K LTPS OLED panels. Storage options may include up to 512GB, while RAM configurations are likely to start at 8GB and go up to 16GB.
Oppo’s Reno series traditionally focuses on design and camera performance, and the new generation appears set to continue that trend. While official confirmation on hardware and pricing is still pending, leaks suggest the brand is preparing a significant performance leap with its upcoming series.
The Reno 15 series will first launch in China before expanding to other markets. Details on global availability and final specifications are expected closer to the release window.
