Oppo is set to unveil its latest smartphone series, the Find X9, on October 16. The lineup includes the standard Find X9 and the higher-end Find X9 Pro models. Ahead of the official launch, leaks have surfaced revealing crucial specifications of the standard model, offering a glimpse into what consumers can expect.
According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oppo Find X9 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and equipped with a large 7,025mAh battery. The leak also highlights the device’s display and camera features. The handset is expected to sport a 6.59-inch OLED flat screen with 1.5K resolution, ultra-narrow equilateral bezels, and what the source describes as an “R-angle” curved edge.
On the camera front, the Find X9 is reported to have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a quad-rear setup. The rear configuration is said to include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide lens, a Sony LYT600 periscope telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture, and a 2-megapixel multi-spectral sensor.
The device is also expected to offer fast charging capabilities, with 80W wired charging support and 50W wireless charging. Additional features may include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and dust and water resistance ratings ranging from IP66 to IP69. The phone’s dimensions are reported to be 7.99mm in thickness, with a weight of approximately 203 grams.
Oppo product manager Zhou Yibao recently confirmed the battery details for both models, noting that the Find X9 Pro will feature a 7,500mAh battery. The standard Find X9 is also expected to introduce the brand’s “All-Scenes 1-nit Eye Protection Screen,” which claims to enhance viewing comfort.
The new series will run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and will reportedly include a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto rear camera with a 70mm focal length on the Pro model. Official images released by Oppo show a metallic frame, a flat back panel, and a Hasselblad-branded quad-camera module with an LED flash. Both models appear to have a similar design layout, with power and volume buttons on the right side.
Color options have been revealed for both variants. The standard Find X9 will be available in Velvet Titanium, Frost White, and Mist Black, while the Find X9 Pro will come in Velvet Titanium and Frost White.
The standard Find X9 has also been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website under model number CPH2791, indicating a likely launch in India soon after the China debut.
The Oppo Find X9 series is officially scheduled to launch in China on October 16.
