Oppo Find X9 Pro launch timeline revealed: Price, specs and features

Oppo is preparing to expand its flagship smartphone line with the Find X9 series, and leaks suggest the Pro model will headline the lineup. The official announcement is expected in October for China, with global markets, including India, tipped to get the device by mid-November.

According to reports, the initial rollout will include the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, while an Ultra edition could arrive next year. A detailed leak has now revealed most of the key specifications of the Pro model, pointing to significant upgrades in display, performance, and camera technology.

The Find X9 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will likely be MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with memory options of up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

Oppo appears to be overhauling the camera setup on the Pro variant. The triple rear array is rumored to include:

* A 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture

* A 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor for ultrawide shots, with autofocus support

* A telephoto unit combining two 50MP modules into a 200MP Samsung HP5 sensor, offering 3x optical zoom and a 70mm focal length — marking its debut in a smartphone.

For selfies and video calls, the device is said to carry a 50MP Samsung JN5 front camera with autofocus.

Battery capacity is expected to increase this year, with the handset housing a 7,550mAh unit. The charging setup may include 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Find X9 Pro is likely to ship with ColorOS 16, based on Android 16. Other expected features include Wi-Fi 7 support, NFC, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a multifunction key.

The pricing for the new flagship could remain close to its predecessor, the Find X8 Pro, which launched in India at around Rs 90,000.
