OnePlus to expand Ace 5 Series with new racing and ultra models in China

OnePlus is set to grow its Ace 5 lineup in China by introducing two new gaming-focused smartphones: the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing and the Ace 5 Ultra. This expansion will bring the total models in the Ace 5 series to four, joining the existing Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro.
OnePlus Ace 5 Racing: Key Features
The Ace 5 Racing will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, promising strong performance tailored for gaming enthusiasts. It will sport a 6.77-inch flat LTPS OLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals.
Camera-wise, the device will include a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor, along with a 16MP front camera for selfies. It is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired fast charging to keep gamers powered up throughout the day.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra: What to Expect
The Ace 5 Ultra steps up with a larger 6.83-inch flat LTPS OLED screen and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It offers configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, making it a powerhouse for multitasking and storage-heavy users.
Battery capacity is expected to be impressive at 7,000mAh, complemented by 100W fast wired charging for quick top-ups. The camera setup is likely similar to the Ace 5 Racing, delivering solid photo capabilities.
OnePlus has yet to announce an official launch date for these new models, but they are anticipated soon as part of the brand’s push into the gaming smartphone market in China.
