Smartphone brand OnePlus is gearing up to introduce two new devices—Ace 5 Racing and Ace 5 Ultra—in China next week, according to multiple reports. These models are positioned to meet the demands of mobile gaming users with high-performance chipsets and display enhancements.
Although the company has not officially announced the release date, a GSMArena report indicates the unveiling could take place next week. Both models are expected to launch exclusively in the Chinese market.
The Ace 5 Racing will feature MediaTek’s newly launched Dimensity 9400e chipset. Meanwhile, the Ace 5 Ultra will run on the Dimensity 9400+ SoC, the most advanced processor in the Dimensity 9000 series. These chipsets are designed to support gaming and high-demand applications with efficiency and speed.
Both devices are likely to include displays with a 120 Hz refresh rate, aiming to deliver smoother motion during gameplay and scrolling. According to the GSMArena report, the Ace 5 Racing is expected to sport a 1080p resolution display, while the Ace 5 Ultra may feature a higher-resolution 1.5K panel.
Leaked specifications hint that the Ace 5 Racing could have a 6.77-inch flat LTPS OLED screen, accompanied by a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor. The front-facing camera might offer 16MP resolution. The device may include a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.
The Ace 5 Ultra is expected to include a 6.83-inch flat LTPS OLED screen and offer up to 16GB of RAM. It may also come with a 7,000 mAh battery, but support faster 100W wired charging. The camera system is likely to mirror that of the Ace 5 Racing.
