OnePlus Pad Go 2 debuts with upgraded display, performance boost, bigger battery and new stylus support.

OnePlus will present the Pad Go 2 in India on December 17, together with the OnePlus 15R and Watch Lite, thus making the new tablet a powerful and value-driven solution for students and young workers. The firm has already disclosed some vital characteristics which indicate that the second-generation model will be a lot better than the first one.
The Pad Go 2 comes with a 12.1-inch display that is not only bigger but also has a higher resolution of 2800×1980. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 88.5% and a 7:5 aspect ratio which are ideal for reading and productivity. OnePlus is focusing on entertainment this year with the 900 nits peak brightness and the Dolby Vision support—both of which are significant upgradesthe company has made to the tablet over the past year.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset powers the tablet, which replaces the older Helio G99 for better daily performance. When combined with Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 and 8GB RAM, the gadget is certified by TUV SUD to maintain its smoothness for four years.
Battery performance also sees a boost with a 10,050mAh unit supporting 33W SuperVOOC charging. While the device itself maintains 33W input, OnePlus will bundle a 45W charger in the box. The brand claims up to 15 hours of video playback, 53 hours of music, 60 days standby, and reverse charging capabilities.
For the first time, the Pad Go series will support stylus input. The new Pad Go 2 Stylo features 4,096 pressure levels and fast charging, offering half a day of use with just 10 minutes of charge—making it appealing for students and budget creators. Despite the upgrades, pricing is expected to stay under ₹25,000, given the previous-gen model's ₹19,999 starting point.
The tablet is going to present a variety of tools supported by AI, such as AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Translation, and AI Recorder. The Open Canvas multitasking system by OnePlus will allow for more fluid split-screen operation and a significant increase in productivity.
