In India, OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Pad Go 2, which is above its entry-level ‘Lite’ series. The new tablet aimed to lock its place in the mid-tier Android tablet market, by giving the OnePlus Pad Go predecessor upgrading in the processing, memory, display, and battery.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is supported by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor which is a replacement for the Helio G99 in the past model. The tablet takes in RAM worth 8GB but is faster in its UFS 3.1 storage compared to the previous one, thus giving the app more responsiveness and multitasking performance. The improvements in the product are reflected in its price which starts at Rs 23,999, whereas the previous one was priced at Rs 18,999.

The device sports a 12.1-inch screen which is larger than the previous one by 11.35 inches and supports clearer pictures with the help of better brightness and color reproduction. The screen area is the place for stylus input which in turn enhances productivity with activities like note-taking and digital drawing among others.

The OnePlus has its Open Canvas feature in the tablet wherein it allows two apps to be displayed at the same time in split-screen mode. The users are also given the option of being able to manage floating windows via multi-touch gestures or task manager options thus getting themselves into the efficient multitasking mode.

The Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset provides the Pad Go 2 with the same technology as other devices within its range such as Lava Play Ultra, Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Infinix Note 50X. With the OxygenOS 16, the tablet provides a smooth operation that covers media consumption, work, and general multitasking.

The battery's capacity was enlarged to 10,050mAh from the previous 8,000mAh and now supports up to 33W wired charging. The tablet provides almost 18 hours of video playback which makes it a good option for short trips without the hassle of frequent recharging.

Connectivity options available are Wi-Fi-only or models that can connect to 5G networks through a SIM card. OnePlus phone users can easily share mobile data across devices through a shared OnePlus account.

OxygenOS 16 comes with performance enhancements, stability upgrades, and AI-based applications. Among other helpers, AI Eraser, Unblur, Reflection Eraser, AI Translate, AI Summaries, and AI Speaker are to boost productivity, while Gemini with Circle to Search integration is to improve navigation and usability.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2's color Lavender Drift is an indication of the company’s commitment to producing capable, reliable Android tablets with consistent performance. The analysts say that although the competition will be stronger in 2026, the Pad Go 2 is presently one of the best choices in its price range.
