OnePlus confirmed on Monday that its latest flagship tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, will debut in India on September 5. The device, first announced globally in June, is now set to go on sale across the country at 12 p.m. on launch day.
The company has revealed that the Pad 3 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with Adreno 830 GPU and Oryon CPU, promising top-tier performance for work, streaming, and productivity.
The tablet will be available in two configurations — 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.
OnePlus stated that the Pad 3 will be offered in Storm Blue and Frosted Silver color options. The device sports a 13.2-inch LTPS LCD display with 3.4K resolution, a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness.
The rear camera is 13 megapixels while the front-facing unit comes in at 8 megapixels.
The tablet is powered by a 12,140mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. It will ship with OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, integrating AI-driven tools and enhanced productivity features.
Though the official price is yet to be disclosed, industry estimates suggest the OnePlus Pad 3 will be positioned below Rs 50,000 in India.
The company is expected to announce exact pricing details at the launch event.
The upcoming release places the OnePlus Pad 3 in direct competition with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 series and Apple’s iPad Mini 2024.
