OnePlus Nord 5, CE 5, Buds 4 Set for July 8 Reveal
OnePlus confirms July 8 launch for Nord 5 series and Buds 4. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Dimensity 8350, and big battery lead the highlights.

OnePlus has officially scheduled its mid-year product showcase for July 8, where it will introduce the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 smartphones, alongside the latest OnePlus Buds 4 wireless earphones. Prior to the event, the company disclosed core specifications and availability details for the upcoming devices.
As per the brand’s announcement, the Nord 5 will be available for purchase from July 9. The Nord CE 5 variant, positioned for broader affordability, will reach markets starting July 12. OnePlus is aiming to bridge high-end capabilities and affordability with the CE 5 model.
The Nord CE 5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, fabricated using a 4nm process. Performance benchmarks indicate an AnTuTu score exceeding 1.47 million. It incorporates a 7,100mAh battery unit that supports 80W wired fast charging, enabling a full recharge in under one hour. The battery is optimized to sustain usage for up to 2.5 days per charge cycle.
On the imaging front, the CE 5 includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization. Although the sensor brand remains undisclosed, it aligns with OnePlus’ focus on imaging consistency across models. Aesthetic differentiation includes a blue color variant exclusive to the CE 5.
The Nord 5 is set to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, aimed at delivering flagship-grade performance. The device will include OnePlus’ largest thermal dissipation system yet, according to internal disclosures. Imaging will be handled by a 50MP Sony LYT-700 rear sensor and a 50MP front-facing Samsung JN5 camera. The Nord 5 will be released in white color.
The OnePlus Summer Launch event will be streamed live across OnePlus’ digital platforms on July 8.
