OnePlus Confirms Android 16 Rollout — Is Your Phone Eligible?
Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 arrives soon. Check the OnePlus devices eligible for update, release dates, and new AI integration.

OnePlus has revealed that its OxygenOS 16 upgrade, which will be based on Android 16, will start being available to the eligible devices in November 2025. The process of updating will last till early 2026 and will cover both devices and tablets across the company's entire range of products.
The firm revealed the rollout through their official community forums, where they also gave a detailed timeline and listed the eligible devices. The upcoming OnePlus 15 will come loaded with OxygenOS 16 and the existing users will get their updates in a phased manner.
The update process will start by making the new flagship models available. In November 2025, the first lot will consist of the OnePlus 13, 13R, 13s, Open, 12, and 12R, besides the OnePlus Pad 2 and Pad 3.
In December, the rollout stage will cover OnePlus 11 5G, 11R 5G, Nord 5, Nord CE5, Nord 4, and Nord 3 5G to be included in the next batch.
The older models such as the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, Nord CE4, Nord CE4 Lite 5G, Pad, and Pad Lite, will be getting the update in the period between January to March 2026. There might be some differences in regions depending on the carrier certification and release conditions.
OxygenOS 16 brings in a new look and a new AI system known as Plus Mind that understands and centralizes the on-screen information. This functionality accumulates data like event dates, pictures, and notes into an integrated hub called Mind Space, which can be accessed via a custom key or a three-finger swipe gesture.
Plus Mind can be used by the users to set reminders straight from visual sources like a poster or a text. The Plus Key can also be personalized for quick actions—opening the camera, turning on the flashlight, starting the recording, or changing sound modes. Integration with Google Gemini
The Google Gemini integration is another feature of the system, which adds up contextual assistance to the users’ everyday events. Gemini accesses the data saved in Mind Space and gives content-aware support. For example, it can make design suggestions, recapitulate documents, or arrange tasks according to the already stored materials.
Mind Plus and Gemini not only cooperate but also form a foundation of AI for making phone interactions easier and hence, boosting productivity for all devices.
In the meantime, OnePlus indicated that the OnePlus 15 would come equipped with OxygenOS 16 out of the box. The phone is set to be the first in the company’s AI-based strategy and to be the model for all forthcoming OxygenOS updates.
