OnePlus Ace 6 Pre-Booking Live: Huge Battery, Ultra Performance Flagship

OnePlus is set to launch its new flagship device, the OnePlus Ace 6, on October 27 in China. The device will be referred to as the OnePlus 15R in other regions. The launch presentation will take place together with the OnePlus 15 introduction, with the Chinese event starting at 7 p.m. local time (4:30 p.m. in India). The live stream can be accessed via OnePlus's official Weibo channel by enthusiasts.

Although the exact price for China hasn’t been disclosed officially, some industry experts are predicting that the OnePlus Ace 6 will be nearly as expensive as the OnePlus Ace 5. The former model in the 12GB + 256GB variant was priced at CNY 2,299 (which is around Rs 26,000) during its launch. The global equivalent OnePlus 13R was also priced at Rs 42,999 for the same configuration during its launch in India.

The OnePlus Ace 6 can be pre-ordered already on sites like Oppo e-Shop, JD Mall, and their other official online stores. Customers can book a unit for CNY 1 (about Rs. 12) and receive benefits valued at CNY 3,255 (approximately Rs. 40,000). It is anticipated that the device will be available for purchase right after the launch on October 27th.

Official teasers indicate that the OnePlus Ace 6 will be available in the colors of Black, Flash White, and Quicksilver. A vertical “ACE” logo is placed at the back of the phone, which is accompanied by the newly created camera module in the top left corner that seems to be inspired by the OnePlus 15.

The device made with metal frame is fitted with numerous openings on its upper edge which are most probably for the mics and IR sensor. The phone also undergoes the toughest possible testing for its IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K rating certification that attests to its robustness. The smartphone weighs 213 grams.

OnePlus has decided to go with an AMOLED flat screen, which is capable of a refresh rate of 165Hz and a variable refresh rate. Switching between 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz, and 165Hz will be options for the users. A 1.5K OLED display which will be produced by BOE is what the panel is supposedly going to be. OnePlus has confirmed that along with the eye-protection display features, the phone will also feature the in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

According to the reports, the OnePlus 15R is going to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is the same chipset that the OnePlus 13 is using. Based on Geekbench reports, it is expected that the RAM capacity can go up to 14.76GB, which will be called 16GB. The device will be powered by Android 16 with ColorOS 16 in China. The first benchmark results indicate single-core scores of 3,050 points and multi-core performance of 9,440 points.

The OnePlus Ace 6 is said to have a 7,800mAh battery, which is considered the largest one in its class. It has the capability of being charged with a 120W fast charging that is done through wired connections. In contrast to OnePlus 15, there is nothing to be said about this model being equipped with wireless charging option.
