OnePlus is widening its 15R series by including the Electric Violet Ace Edition as the third color option, which is directed towards gamers who prefer a more unique design. The latest color will be sold only through amazon.in and OnePlus.in starting from December 17. This edition is added up with the previous Charcoal Black and Mint Green versions to form a 15R family.
The Ace Edition is remarkable due to its fiberglass rear panel that is specially coated to withstand fingerprints and has the word "Ace" concealed in the design as a branding mark. Besides looks, the gadget emphasizes on top-quality performance, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor which is a result of two years of collaboration between OnePlus and Qualcomm. This is the processor's global launch and the 15R is branded as the company's "ultimate value flagship."
Battery life is a key feature of this product. OnePlus 15R is equipped with a 7,400 mAh battery—the biggest one ever used in a OnePlus mobile phone. Its Silicon Nanostack technology uses 15% silicon in the anode that prevents battery degradation, allowing to keep at least 80% capacity even after four years. The phone can be charged quickly with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging feature for instant energy supply.
The screen is designed for the gamers and the multimedia people as it is composed of a 1.5K AMOLED panel with 165Hz refresh rate. The screen translates the resolution into 450 pixels per inch and has the ability to vary brightness between 1 and 1,800 nits. The certification of TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 has been received which contributes to the users' comfort of the eyes during long hours of use.
The camera of the 15R Ace Edition gets support from the DetailMax Engine, which has been taken from the OnePlus 15 flagship. The new camera system consists of Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst, Clear Night Engine, and 4K video capture at 120fps. Plus, the users can benefit from the Plus Mind AI system through the special Plus Key which will scan the screen for content and assist in activities like appointment booking and creating calendar events.
