OnePlus 15 Unveiled in China: 165Hz Display, 7,300mAh Battery, Global Launch Coming Soon

After weeks of teasers and leaks, the OnePlus 15 is finally launched in China, and the company has confirmed that “coming soon” means almost imminent release for Indian and international markets.

Performance Beast with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

OnePlus 15 has the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset from Qualcomm so that performance will be top-notch, with enough power management. It pairs up with a 165Hz refresh rate display, ultra-smooth visuals are a huge upgrade from the 120Hz panel the OnePlus 13 sports.

Thus far, very few mobile games support 165Hz; the upgrade therefore future-proofs the device for so-called next-generation gaming and scrolling experiences.

Massive 7,300mAh Battery with 120W Charging

The saying "the bigger the battery, the better," truly applies here, with a gargantuan 7,300mAh unit, one of the largest being installed in flagship smartphones this year. The phone also supports 120W fast wired charging, making sure one would rarely stay plugged in for long. That being said, it is still unknown whether the global variant will feature this huge stock of battery capacity, as most of these specs usually go region-wise with Chinese models.

The OnePlus 15 brings forth a redesigned square camera module holding three 50MP sensors including an improved periscope for better zoom shots. Highly rated for durability with an IP69K rating, the handset can withstand dust, water, and heat to a much greater degree- perfect for heavy outdoor use.

Price & Availability

Starting at ¥3,999 (approximately $560) in China, OnePlus 15 was announced alongside a lower-cost variant, the OnePlus Ace 6, which features an even larger 7,800mAh battery but comes with a simpler two-camera set-up. The Ace 6 will most likely make its global debut as the OnePlus 15R.

Global Launch

While OnePlus hasn�t announced an exact release date, this teaser could indicate the global launch as in the beginning of November 2025. Provided with powerful internals and a bold design with a massive battery, the 15 could very well be one of the most sought-after Android flagships of the season.
