OnePlus 15 India Launch Nov 13: Leaked Prices & Specs Revealed Early!

OnePlus is going to start selling its new flagship, OnePlus 15 5G, in India on November 13th. Before the official launch, a leak has come out online which suggests the possible price of the smartphone in India. The smartphone will be the first to come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor in India. Whereas OnePlus has verified numerous hardware specifications, its local price remained hidden until the recent leak came out.

As per a post on X, the basic version of the OnePlus 15 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is predicted to be priced at Rs. 72,999. The highest variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is likely to be around Rs. 76,999. It is said that the leak came from an authorized retail partner, but the numbers have not been confirmed by the company yet. In addition, the post stated that customers might get a free pair of OnePlus Nord earbuds worth Rs. 2,699 as part of the launch offers.

Market analysts speculate that the OnePlus 15 will come under the price tag of Rs. 75,000 in India, which leads them to compare it with the OnePlus 13. The latter one, though, originally launched at Rs. 69,999, was later reduced to Rs. 63,999.

The OnePlus 15 will be launched in India at 7:00 p.m. IST on November 13, with sales starting just one hour later. The phone will be sold via Amazon, the official OnePlus website, and authorized partners throughout the country. The launch event will also be streamed live by OnePlus, and further broadcast details will be provided later.

Even though the OnePlus 15 has been released in China, its specifications are already available to the public. It is equipped with a 6.78-inch BOE X3 8T LTPO flat display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 165Hz, which can achieve a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits.

The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with the Adreno 840 GPU accompanying it. Storage is a maximum of 1TB UFS 4.1, whereas the RAM can be as high as 16GB LPDDR5x.

The imaging part consists of a triple 50MP camera unit at the back with a primary sensor having optical image stabilization (OIS), a wide-angle lens, and a periscope zoom lens. A 32MP front camera provides the capability of recording 4K videos, while the 8K rear camera can shoot videos at 30 fps.

The OnePlus 15 is equipped with a 7,300mAh battery that supports both 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. It comes with ColorOS 16, which is Android-based, and also has the latest in wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and more. The phone is even more feature-rich with dual stereo speakers, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and top-notch dust and water resistance with IP66/68/69/69K ratings.

OnePlus is likely to unveil the confirmed prices and giveaways at the official event with less than a week to go before the launch.
