The update also includes a lot of security and device protection features. The Android security patch of November 2025 will be installed, along with the speed of virus-scanning in Phone Manager being increased which will help in making daily device checks more effective.
Networking features have been given a huge boost thanks to the AI LinkBoost Network Engine interface. Users can observe in real-time network optimization, attenuation of delays, and they can even be notified when network acceleration comes into play in spots with bad connectivity. Also, a speed testing tool has been incorporated for users to do their checking of upload, download, and latency times straight from the phone.
The update is seen by OnePlus as a move to the “next level of seamless experience,” which comprises performance improvements, personalization options, and stronger device protection. The first part of the update is being released gradually to OnePlus 15 users now.
