OnePlus has commenced officially teasing its forthcoming flagship — the OnePlus 15 — prior to its launch in India. A new microsite dedicated to the smartphone has cropped up on a prominent e-commerce site, suggesting that the official reveal is likely to take place next month. The company has disclosed the gadget's design and a new Sand Storm colour finish, while recent leaks have already given away the most important hardware upgrades for it.
Early rumors indicate that OnePlus 15 will have a 7,300mAh battery, which is going to be a major modification of the capacity when compared to flagship models of Apple, Samsung and Google. One more thing the device is rumored to have is 120W fast charging, which would mean the device could be powered up in no time at all, taking less time than the current premium smartphones use.
The new mobile will be installed with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 microprocessor, which in turn, allows different premium products to come, such as the iQOO 15 and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The next-generation chipset not only promises maximum performance but also retains operational efficiency, making it the best choice for future Android flagships in 2025.
A 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display provided in collaboration with BOE will be one of the things OnePlus 15 will offer. The display will have the ability to refresh at 165Hz, which is even better than the OnePlus 13's 120Hz panel. In addition, the reports also talk about 1.15mm ultra-thin bezels that will add to its aesthetic appeal and make the touch response smoother.
A 50MP quad rear camera setup might be one of the attractions of the smartphone with the addition of a 3.5x optical zoom telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the specifics about the sensors are still not divulged, but the high expectations are justified with the camera quality of the OnePlus 13 series as a reference point.
According to the rumors, OnePlus is bringing a new "Glacier Cooling System" into the OnePlus 15. The cooling system will rely on a large vapour chamber and a dual-layer capillary structure for an even better heat management. In addition to the above, it will contain Glacier Supercritical Aerogel, which is supposed to stabilize the performance during gaming or 4K video recording.
The informant Arsène Lupin (@MysteryLupin) has lately asserted that the OnePlus 15 with 16GB RAM plus 512GB storage can be priced at £949 (approximately Rs 1.11 lakh) worldwide. Yet, the starting variant might be priced around Rs 70,000 and Rs 75,000 in the Indian market, thus ensuring its competitiveness with other premium Android flagships.
The OnePlus 15 is counting down to be one of the most wanted Android phones of this season, as the company is about to reveal the official launch date in India, likely in the next few weeks.
