OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 Launched: Everything India Users Need to Know

OnePlus on October 27 made its official debut of the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 in China, consequently letting these devices in the company’s latest premium smartphone segment. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage capacity are the key features of the OnePlus 15. Also, a 7,300mAh battery powers the handset which also has a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz. The rear camera setup consists of three separate 50MP sensors all benefiting from the OnePlus’ DetailMax Engine.

The company has made it clear that they will be selling their products outside of China. In India, the OnePlus 15 has an Amazon India dedicated microsite, but the date for the launch has not yet been given. Some experts in the industry think that the OnePlus Ace 6 will be sold as OnePlus 15R in the Indian market, but they have not been confirmed yet.

The Indian model of the OnePlus 15 is likely to be similar to the Chinese variant, which is expected to come with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and have the same camera setup of 50MP primary sensor along with two others. Additionally, the phone will have the same top-notch specifications by including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and OnePlus’ DetailMax imaging software.

The OnePlus 15’s display measures 6.78 inches with FHD+ resolution of 2772×1272 pixels, peak brightness of 1,800 nits, and a refresh rate of 120Hz, with dynamic adjustments reaching 165Hz. RAM options include 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5X, while storage ranges from 256GB to 1TB using UFS 4.1 technology.

The camera features a triple rear system that includes the main camera 50MP wide, 50MP ultra-wide, and 50MP telephoto sensors, plus the front camera of 32MP. The battery has a capacity of 7,300mAh and is accompanied with 120W Super Flash Charge, also 50W wireless fast charging. Depending on the chosen color, the gadget has a thickness of 8.1mm to 8.2mm. The colors available in China are Sand Dune, Absolute Black, and Misty Purple.

The OnePlus Ace 6 comes with a 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that has peak brightness of 1,800 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate, which can be boosted to 165Hz in some situations. It also features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is combined with either 12GB or 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage.

The Ace 6 has a dual rear camera configuration that combines a 50MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 16MP front camera, and a battery with a capacity of 7,800mAh that supports 120W Super Flash Charge. The phone can be found in the colors of Quick Silver, Flash White, and Black in China. Its thickness is 8.3mm.

OnePlus’ most recent introductions showcase the company’s approach of merging big displays, speedy processors, and long-lasting batteries to gain a foothold in the luxury market. The OnePlus 15 can be expected to come to the Indian market soon after its launch in China, while the Ace 6 may be introduced as the 15R variant.
