OnePlus has confirmed the global rollout of its next-generation flagship, the OnePlus 15 5G, following teasers ahead of its China launch scheduled for October. The company has unveiled the Sand Storm colour variant, offering a premium and sophisticated look for its upcoming device.
The design reveal gives consumers a first glimpse of the smartphone’s build and aesthetics. However, the global and Indian launch timelines remain tentative. Sources indicate that the international launch may occur in January 2026, while the China debut is confirmed for October 27, 2025.
The OnePlus 15 5G will feature an aluminium frame treated with micro-arc oxidation, a high-voltage plasma process that produces a ceramic coating. According to the manufacturer, this enhances durability, making the frame 3.4 times stronger than standard aluminium and 1.5 times tougher than titanium. The rear panel will utilize fibreglass, while the camera module has been redesigned, and a new Plus key may provide customizable shortcuts for quick access to phone functions.
Under the hood, the flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, coupled with a new cooling system to deliver improved performance over previous models. Users can expect faster processing, efficient heat management, and enhanced overall performance.
Regarding pricing, the OnePlus 15 5G is expected to launch in India within the Rs 70,000–Rs 75,000 range, similar to the pricing of the OnePlus 13 series. Official details on variants, storage options, and final pricing are yet to be disclosed by the company.
