OnePlus is preparing to release its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15 5G, with an official debut slated for China in October 2025. While the company has not disclosed a worldwide launch date, industry analysts anticipate the device could reach markets such as India by January 2026.
Leaks suggest the OnePlus 15 5G will adopt a redesigned rear layout, replacing the traditional circular camera module with a rectangular array positioned on the upper right corner. The front is expected to feature a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with curved edges, ultra-thin 1.15mm bezels, and a 165Hz refresh rate at 1.5K resolution. A customizable side button may allow users to assign specific functions according to preference.
The device is reported to include a triple-camera setup, each sensor at 50MP, covering standard, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses. Optical zoom may reach up to 3x, and some leaks speculate a 200MP periscope telephoto option. OnePlus is expected to end its collaboration with Hasselblad and introduce its proprietary imaging software for enhanced photography.
The OnePlus 15 5G will reportedly run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, offering improved AI-based performance. Memory configurations could reach 16GB RAM with up to 512GB internal storage. The handset is expected to operate on OxygenOS 16 over Android 16. Battery capacity may hit 7,000mAh with 120W fast charging support, emphasizing long-lasting performance with rapid charging capabilities.
Industry insiders project the Indian price for the OnePlus 15 5G to align with previous flagship models, potentially around Rs 70,000, though official pricing details are not yet confirmed.
