October 2025 Smartphones: OnePlus, Vivo, iQOO, Xiaomi Flagships Arrive

The smartphone market is preparing for a series of major device releases in October 2025, as leading brands aim to strengthen their positions in the premium segment. Companies including OnePlus, Vivo, iQOO, Xiaomi, and Realme are set to introduce new models with upgraded processors, enhanced displays, and larger batteries. OnePlus plans to kick off the month with the global launch of the OnePlus 15, debuting first in China. Vivo has confirmed the Indian launch of its X300 series on October 13. The X300 Pro model is reported to house MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. A 200MP periscope telephoto camera is expected to enhance imaging capabilities, reflecting Vivo’s emphasis on advanced mobile photography.

Xiaomi will introduce the Xiaomi 17 in India following its China debut. Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and Qualcomm’s AI Engine, the device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED screen and a 7000mAh battery. The Indian variant is anticipated to closely mirror the Chinese specifications.

Realme plans to release a special edition of its Realme 15 Pro 5G, themed after the Game of Thrones series. The regular model sports a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, dual 50MP cameras, and a 7000mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The Game of Thrones Edition will include design tweaks inspired by the show, while the device maintains IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
