UK-based technology company Nothing is preparing to launch its next major smartphone, the Nothing Phone 3, on July 1. This marks the brand's fourth mobile device release in 2025, following the launches of the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Phone 3a series.
Ahead of the official announcement, Nothing has been releasing a series of teasers confirming several key features. Among them is the inclusion of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which represents a major hardware advancement over previous models. The phone also introduces a redesigned Glyph interface and a new external look that signals a fresh design direction.
Market insiders estimate that the Phone 3 could debut at around Rs 60,000 in India. Positioned as a top-tier device within Nothing’s product range, this pricing places the handset in the premium mid-segment to entry-level flagship category.
Images leaked ahead of the launch show the Phone 3 with a new industrial-themed design. It features sharp contours, metallic framing, and the company’s trademark transparent back. The updated Glyph lights form a circular layout on the rear, alongside visible screws and a refined triple-lens camera setup tucked in one corner.
According to multiple sources, the device will feature three rear cameras: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide unit, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering up to 3x optical zoom. This setup marks a shift in Nothing's imaging strategy, aiming for high versatility. The front camera is also expected to be upgraded to a 50MP sensor with autofocus, an improvement over the previous 32MP camera.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, confirmed by the company, is central to the Phone 3’s push into flagship territory. With improved efficiency and processing capabilities, it is expected to support enhanced gaming, multitasking, and overall user performance.
As the launch date approaches, more details are expected from the company through its ongoing teaser campaign.
