Nothing, a British consumer tech brand, has officially revealed that its highly anticipated Nothing Phone 3 will launch on July 1, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset—marking a significant performance leap over previous models.
Performance Boost
According to company claims backed by internal testing:
- GPU performance improved by up to 88%
- CPU speed increased by about 36%
- NPU (AI) performance surged by approximately 60–125% depending on the comparison
These enhancements promise snappier everyday use, smoother gaming, enhanced image processing, and optimized power efficiency.
Flagship Ambition with Balanced Choice
While the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is slightly less powerful than the outright flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite, Nothing positions it as the first “true flagship” for the brand—building on balanced performance, premium materials, and thoughtful software optimisation.
Carl Pei, Nothing’s CEO, emphasized that real-world experience matters more than raw specs:
“This time everything else also got much better, so we needed an even stronger chip to drive it”

The “Come to Play” event is set for July 1 at 10:30 PM IST in London, where Nothing will unveil:
