Nintendo Black Friday Sale 2025: Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda, and More Up to $30 Off

On this Black Friday and festive season, Nintendo has organized a promotion for selected first-party titles for the Switch, which fans may take advantage of from 23 November to early December at their nearest retail store and digital store, where games, accessories, and storage also are marked off.

Game Discounts

Physical copies of eight Nintendo Switch games are available at discounted rates:

• $39.99 each: Princess Peach: Showtime!, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Luigi's Mansion 3, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe
• $29.99 each: Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo Switch Sports, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Splatoon 3
• These deals offer savings of $20 to $30 off standard retail prices. Digital versions are also discounted through the Cyber Deals sale on My Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop, running from November 20 to December 3.

Accessories and Storage Deals

Amiibo Figures: Select figures, including The Legend of Zelda Series Sages and Street Fighter 6 amiibo, are available at $10 off at participating retailers.

Samsung MicroSD Express Cards: Starting November 30, these cards, offering extra storage for Nintendo Switch 2 systems, are available with a $20 discount at Nintendo’s official stores and select retailers.

In-Store Demos and Holiday Events

Nintendo is hosting free in-store demonstration events at retail locations throughout the holiday season:

• Best Buy: Nov 15 & Dec 13, featuring Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza
• GameStop: Dec 6, with demos of Mario Kart World, Kirby Air Riders, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and more
• Walmart GameTruck Holiday Tour: Weekends from Nov 15 to Dec 13, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., offering playable demos of Mario Kart World
• Nintendo stores in San Francisco and New York will feature exclusive holiday merchandise, gift-with-purchase offers, and a Winter Collection of clothing and accessories inspired by Nintendo characters.

Various discounted games--such as Super Mario Odyssey, Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and Splatoon 3--work with updates for free Nintendo Switch 2 for improved graphics, smoother gameplay, and higher resolution. The Nintendo Switch 2 is designed for the year of $449.99 alone or $499.99 in the Mario Kart World bundle with all the new games play, plus pretty much every single compatibility with all Switch games so far.
