Motorola has unveiled its latest budget smartphone in India, the Moto G06 Power, marking the newest addition to the company’s G series. The device comes with a large 7,000mAh battery, a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The screen is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added durability.
The base model of the Moto G06 Power, featuring 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, is priced at Rs 7,499 in India. Prospective buyers can purchase the device through Flipkart, Motorola’s official India website, and select offline retail stores. Color options include Pantone Laurel Oak, Pantone Tendril, and Pantone Tapestry.
The handset has a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720x1,640 pixels. It supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 395ppi pixel density, and 600 nits peak brightness. The frame is made of plastic, while the back panel is crafted from vegan leather.
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC, the Moto G06 Power pairs the processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via MicroSD. The smartphone operates on Android 15 with Motorola’s Hello UI.
The 7,000mAh battery supports 18W charging when paired with Motorola’s 20W charger. Motorola claims the battery can deliver up to 65 hours of media playback on a single charge. The device weighs 220 grams.
On the rear, the smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The front-facing camera for selfies and video calls is 8 megapixels with an f/2.0 aperture.
Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Audio is delivered through stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device also supports Google’s Gemini AI assistant for AI-powered functionality.
