Motorola Edge 60 Pro Launched in India at Rs 29,999

Motorola on Wednesday unveiled the Edge 60 Pro in India, priced from Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. The smartphone goes on sale May 7, with preorders open on Flipkart, motorola.in and select retail outlets.

The Edge 60 Pro packs a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED panel that refreshes at 120Hz and peaks at 4,500 nits. The quad-curved display includes HDR10+ support and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Under the hood, the device draws power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Extreme chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. It launches with Android 15 and carries a commitment to three OS upgrades and four years of security patches.

Motorola’s AI suite on the Edge 60 Pro features Catch Me Up for quick summaries, Pay Attention for live transcription and Remember This for note recall. Global Search and Next Move enhance workflow; AI Key and Circle enable single-tap and visual queries, while Gemini Live offers conversational assistance.

The chassis shifts from metal to a polymer frame with leather- or nylon-inspired back panels, and earns IP68 and IP69 ratings alongside MIL-STD-810H certification for dust, water, temperature and shock resistance.

Imaging capabilities include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide module with macro mode, and a 10MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical and 50x hybrid zoom. A 50MP autofocus camera sits at the front.

A 6,000mAh battery fuels the phone, supporting 90W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. A 90W charger is included in the box.

Connectivity options cover 5G SA/NSA on multiple bands, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and GPS. The package measures 160.7 x 73.1 x 8.2 mm and weighs 186 grams.

Color choices include Dazzling Blue, Shadow and Sparkling Grape. The 12GB + 256GB version carries a Rs 33,999 tag and shares the same availability schedule.
