Motorola Edge 60 Pro gets BIS certification, India launch soon

Motorola is set to unveil its new midrange smartphone, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, following its appearance on India's BIS certification website with the model number XT2503-2. This suggests that the launch is just around the corner. The Edge 60 Pro is poised to succeed the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, which debuted in 2024, and the new device’s certification aligns with similar model numbers seen for earlier models like the Edge 50 Pro (XT2403-4) and Edge 40 Pro (XT2303-2).
Though the BIS and EEC certifications reveal no hardware details, the new Edge model is expected to bring some exciting upgrades. Leaks indicate that it will feature a Snapdragon chipset, continuing the trend of powerful processors seen in its predecessors. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro, for context, came with a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, and a 50MP triple camera setup, along with a 4,500mAh battery supporting 125W fast wired charging.
As the Motorola Edge 60 Pro nears launch, tech enthusiasts can expect improvements in both performance and camera features, making it an exciting device for the midrange smartphone market. Stay tuned for more details as the launch date approaches.
