Motorola has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Edge 60, for the Indian market. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and follows the design cues of earlier models launched this year. Positioned under Rs 30,000, the Edge 60 will challenge rivals such as the iQOO Neo 10R, Infinix GT 30 Pro, Poco X7 Pro, and OnePlus Nord 4.
The Motorola Edge 60 is priced at Rs 25,999 for the sole configuration offering 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The handset will be available for purchase from June 17 via Flipkart, Motorola’s official online store, and select offline outlets. Buyers can choose between two color options: Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock, both featuring a vegan leather finish on the back panel.
The smartphone sports a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 10-bit color depth. It supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and boasts a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, with High Brightness Mode pushing up to 1,400 nits. For durability, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The Edge 60 carries an IP68 and IP69 rating, ensuring resistance to dust and water, alongside MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification for ruggedness.
Under the hood, the Edge 60 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor paired with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It offers 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, users can expand storage up to 1TB using a microSD card slot.
The rear camera module includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP autofocus ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and OIS. On the front, the device houses a 50MP selfie camera capable of 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.
Running on Motorola’s Hello UI based on Android 15, the Edge 60 comes with a commitment of three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. The handset is powered by a 5,500mAh battery supporting 68W fast wired charging, promising quick top-ups for prolonged usage.
