Moto G96 5G Launches Under Rs 20,000 with 4K Selfie Cam
Motorola launches Moto G96 5G in India with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, 50MP Sony camera, 144Hz pOLED display, Android 15, and Dolby Atmos speakers.

Motorola has introduced the Moto G96 5G in India, strengthening its presence in the competitive 5G smartphone segment. The handset is offered in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage at Rs 17,999 and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage at Rs 19,999.
The Moto G96 5G will be available for purchase starting July 16 on Flipkart and the Motorola India website. The device is offered in four distinct color variants: Cattleya Orchid, Ashleigh Blue, Greener Pastures, and Dresden Blue.
Sporting a 6.67-inch 3D curved pOLED screen, the display delivers Full-HD+ resolution with 10-bit color, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits peak brightness. It includes Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and supports water touch operation. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor.
The smartphone runs Hello UI based on Android 15 and is equipped with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Motorola has promised three years of security updates.
The rear camera setup features a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor with optical image stabilization, coupled with an 8MP ultrawide and macro combo lens. The front houses a 32MP camera that supports 4K video recording. AI imaging features include photo enhancement tools.
The Moto G96 5G includes a 5,500mAh battery with 33W TurboPower charging support. It offers stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and facial recognition. The handset is encased in a vegan leather body and has an IP68 rating for resistance against dust and water. The phone weighs 178.1 grams and is 7.93mm in thickness.
With a combination of robust performance, capable cameras, and premium design, the Moto G96 5G targets the sub-Rs 20,000 smartphone category, aiming to capture attention in the mid-range segment.
