According to the YouTube officials, "Important Update: YouTube technical issues today with
our recommendations system disallowed videos from appearing across surfaces on YouTube. It

is now available, but we're still working on a complete fix — new updates are coming soon!"
More updates on YouTube outage February 2026, within one hour added that: "We're also
finding a small number of reports that some users are still unable to log in to YouTube TV. It is a
big technical issue across YouTube, and we're also working on a fix here."
The ‘final update’ was shared around 10:15 p.m. "The issue with our recommendations system

Tuesday evening. YouTube has received more than 1.6 million user error reports in the last 24
hours on 17 February.
