Highlighting the company's strong performance and rapid progress in AI, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shared a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
Before highlighting key developments that underscore Microsoft’s growing focus on AI, Nadella wrote, “It’s been a busy few weeks.” He noted that Microsoft is making significant progress in AI model performance, which is “doubling every six months” due to advancements in pre-training, inference, and systems design. Azure, Microsoft’s cloud platform, plays a central role as the “infrastructure layer for AI,” optimised from data centers and silicon to software and models.
Nadella also pointed out strong momentum for Microsoft 365 Copilot. He said, “Microsoft 365 Copilot is now being used by hundreds of thousands of customers across industries.”
On the consumer products front, Nadella highlighted that the revenue for the tech giant clocked $20 billion in the past year. LinkedIn saw a growth of double digits in memberships.
With AI-integrated lineups spanning across Bing, Edge, and the Copilot app, Nadella confirmed that Microsoft is doubling down on building the future with AI at its core.
