Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura Gets AI, OLED, and White Finish
Lenovo unveils ThinkPad X9 Aura in Moonlight White with OLED screen, Intel Lunar Lake CPUs, AI features, and up to 2TB SSD storage.

Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition in a new Moonlight White variant, marking its first release of an Aura Edition laptop in this color scheme. The updated design keeps the traditional black keyboard and bezel while offering a refreshed white chassis aimed at expanding design choices within the ThinkPad lineup.
The laptop is powered by Intel's latest Lunar Lake architecture and comes equipped with up to a Core Ultra 9 288V processor. It features up to 32GB of on-package memory and supports solid-state storage of up to 2TB. The ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition is available in two display sizes—14-inch and 15-inch.
Both display variants sport a 2.8K OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Battery configurations vary by size: the 14-inch version has a 55Wh battery and weighs 1.27kg, while the 15-inch option includes an 80Wh battery and tips the scale at 1.4kg.
Lenovo has incorporated its Tianxuan AI assistant, compatible with models such as DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Qwen-1.5B and DeepSeek-Coder-1.3B. The keyboard adheres to a full-size ISO layout with a 1.35mm key travel, designed for comfortable input.
Additional features include an 8-megapixel infrared camera with 1.0-micron pixel size and an upgraded red TrackPoint, now fitted with a breathing LED for enhanced usability.
The 14-inch ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition with Core Ultra 7 258V is priced at CNY 12,999. The 15-inch configuration is listed at CNY 16,999. Lenovo has not yet confirmed international availability or India launch dates.
